CMPS 2650 — Linux Environment & Administration

Catalog description: Common Linux commands, shell scripting, regular expressions, and tools used in a Linux programming environment (e.g., make, debugger, advanced text editing and processing with vi/sed/tr). Extends to multi-user, networked system administration: kernel and network configuration, daemons, devices & critical processes, startup/shutdown, accounts, installs, security, and scripting. Includes hands-on labs.
