Oral Presentation of Conceptual Database Design CMPS 342 The database project consists of different phases. Students are given a week or two to investigage a business/enterprise he/she will build database application for. Based on the information collection during the investigation, each student will use E-R model to perform conceptual database design, and orally presents the conceptual database to the entire class during the lab hours. The class will ask questions to the presenter, give suggestions, and discuss alternatives to the original design. During the lab hours, each student is given around 30 minutes to present the following: 1. The description of a business or enterprise he/she is designing database application for. 2. What is E-R Model? 3. The Entity sets/types and relationship types for the business. 4. The E-R diagram. 5. Questions and Answers 6. Collect the suggestions.
