Dr. Amin Malek

Associate Professor, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), Senior Member of IEEE

Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering

Dr. Malekmohammadi is an experienced researcher with a specific discipline in Silicon Photonics, Design, Fabrication, and Data Analysis. He is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the Engineering Council (CEng), IET, and the Optical Society of America (OSA). He has been awarded over $ 1.5 Million in grant monies and endowments. He has published over 100 scientific research papers and a postgraduate textbook and delivered keynote speeches at international scientific conferences around the Globe. Up to now, he has held four patents on optical fiber communication systems.
